Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar browser technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can accept, reject, or withdraw permission for optional services.

Effective date: August 11, 2026

Manage your choices

Analytics and live-support services are off until you choose to enable them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

1. What this policy covers

Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software identifiers. In this policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies where they store information on, or access information from, your device.

2. Strictly necessary storage

These items support services you request and cannot be disabled through our preference panel.

NameTechnologyPurposeDuration
rfqCartLocal storageKeeps parts you add to the RFQ cart between pages.Until you clear it or browser storage
supplyics_consent_v1Local storageRecords your analytics and live-support preferences so we can respect them.Until you clear browser storage or the preference format changes

3. Analytics — optional

If you enable Analytics, we load both Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. They help us measure visits, understand how pages are used, diagnose usability issues, and improve site performance. We configure advertising storage and ad-personalization signals as denied.

ProviderTypical namesPurposeTypical maximum
Google Analytics_ga, _ga_*Distinguishes visitors and retains session state for aggregate usage reporting.Up to 2 years, subject to browser limits and our configuration
Microsoft Clarity_clck, _clskConnects page views into sessions and supports interaction and usability analysis.Up to 1 year; some session storage is shorter

Providers may receive technical information such as IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, and interaction events. See the Privacy Policy for more information.

4. Live support — optional

If you enable Live support, we load the self-hosted Chatwoot widget from chatwoot.fisherr.fun. Chatwoot may use cookies and local or session storage to create a conversation identifier, maintain the chat session, show message history, and route messages to our support team. Storage duration varies by session and Chatwoot configuration. Information you type into chat is also processed to answer your request.

5. Consent behavior

  • On a first visit, optional analytics and live support remain off.
  • “Accept all” enables both optional categories. “Reject optional” keeps both off. “Customize” lets you choose each category separately.
  • Your choice applies on the current browser and device. Clearing browser storage removes it, so we will ask again.
  • When you withdraw a previously granted category, the page reloads to stop that service and attempts to remove accessible first-party optional cookies and storage.

6. Browser controls and Do Not Track

You may also block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking all storage can prevent the RFQ cart or preference record from persisting. Because there is not one universally implemented Do Not Track standard, use our cookie preference control for a direct, category-specific choice.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. Material changes may cause the preference panel to ask for a new choice. Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to [email protected].
